The elbow brace can help with the healing of the elbow joint due to injury, elbow dysplasia, or provide relief from degenerative joint diseases, such as osteoarthritis. The elbow brace allows for healing and/or support of the joint by controlling your pet’s elbow range of motion. By limiting the flexion and extension motion at the elbow, the area can then heal naturally or provide some pain relief. The custom brace’s semi-rigid design provides pressure on front of the radius/ulna and pressure along the back of the humerus. The custom brace design provides a total contact fit that reduces the tendencies for rubbing and skin irritations.
